Household access

A shared financial view for two household members

BetterOff supports two household members on one plan. They can review the same connected financial picture across accounts, spending, investments, debts, and recurring bills while institution access remains read-only.

  • 10,000+ supported institutions
  • Encryption at rest and in transit

Who it is for

It is built for couples or households that make decisions together but have money spread across separate institutions. Shared visibility does not replace conversation, permissions at the original institution, or professional legal and tax advice.

How it works

A reviewable workflow, not a black box

  1. 01Connect up to five supported sources that belong in the shared picture.
  2. 02Invite the second household member included with the plan.
  3. 03Review balances, activity, recurring obligations, and changes from the same workspace.
  4. 04Export records or use the assistant to prepare a question for discussion.

What to know before choosing

The goal is a common map, not a pooled bank account. BetterOff cannot move money through connected sources. It does not sell customer data, and AI-proposed changes require approval.

The single plan includes five connected sources, 200 AI messages each month, two household members, and PDF and CSV exports. It costs $15 monthly or $144 yearly and has a 30-day refund policy. Review pricing and limits, security practices, and the FAQ before signing up.
